#ConGov #RaGa #PriyankaWadra #exposed on #AgniveerScheme #AgnipathScheme
"The Agniveer scheme, also known as the Agnipath scheme, offers a four-year
contract to young people to contribute to India's defense. The scheme offers
some benefits, including:
A monthly salary of ₹30,000–40,000
A non-contributory insurance cover of ₹48 lakh during the service period
A unique resume that can help Agniveers stand out
Military training, team building, and camaraderie
The non-contributory life insurance cover is only valid during service
Families of Agniveers who die in the line of duty are not eligible for regular
benefits like a pension. At the end of the four-year contract, about 25% of
Agniveers will be enrolled in the armed forces as regular cadres for a minimum
of 15 years. The government says that the remaining Agniveers will be given
preference when applying for other government jobs. However, the scheme also has
some disadvantages, including: A short-term contract that limits long-term
military careers to four years No gratuity or pensionary benefits."
